Spiritually Blind & Bewildered

Can you see Me now?
I get the message.
Sometimes I am blind to God’s presence and purpose in my life.
LORD, open our eyes.
The self–righteous are blind and bewildered.
“All a man’s ways seem right to him,
but the LORD evaluates the motives (Proverbs 16:2 HCSB).”
What motivates you & me? Is it love for Him and His commandments?
“There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death (Proverbs 16:25 HCSB).”
Will we see Him as sovereign? Why continue blindly down the same dead-end street?
“Hear this,
you foolish and senseless people.
They have eyes, but they don’t see.
They have ears, but they don’t hear (Jeremiah 5:21 HSCB).”

Thanks, Lou Jean. I’m doing a workbook study on prayer, old one I probably picked up at a thrift store. It was put out by the Upper Room. Inspiring…

Brother Joe started this past Sunday in Jeremiah. I wish he would not feel pressured to stop at NOON!!
I started a new notebook and studying on my own. This came at just the right time!!
