Are you a frequent guest at Bed & Breakfast hotels?
I guess that might be on my bucket list… that is if I ever begin one.
I’m sure I’d like the comfortable surroundings and the tantalizing aroma of home cooked breakfast wafting towards my private room. I’d rank Victorian Bed & Breakfasts at the top of preferences.
Job offered Old Testament hospitality to the passersby.
“The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveler (Job 31:32 KJV).”
Good for Job; he opened wide his heart and his doors!
Who knows? Maybe we might both get Bed & Breakfast getaway opportunities! There is a huge B & B near here, looks like a southern mansion…
Love & Prayers,
Pam

I appreciate you pointing this part of the Book of Job out to us today. So often, we only think of the harder verses in that book. No doubt his heart for helping the strangers was a part of why God saw Job as faithful to Him. I, too, would like to spend some time at a B and B. Lots of writers find them great places for a writing get-away.
