They were not invaders from Mars or Pluto.
They were not little green men who used ray guns.
Enemies didn’t view them through 3-D glasses.
Yet, the people of Egypt thought they were dealing with an alien population explosion.
“Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, ‘Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are more and mightier than we (Exodus 1:8-9 NASB).”
The Egyptians made their lives intolerable.
“But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread out, so that they were in dread of the sons of Israel (Exodus 1:12 NASB).”
God witnessed the cruelty of the Egyptians. Then, and now, He hears the cries of aliens.
“He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing. So show your love for the alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt (Deuteronomy 10:18-19 NASB).”
