Sometimes…
We just need His shoulder to cry on.
“My soul clings to the dust;
Revive me according to Your word.
I have declared my ways, and You answered me;
Teach me Your statutes.
Make me understand the way of Your precepts;
So shall I meditate on Your wonderful works.
My soul melts from heaviness;
Strengthen me according to Your word (Psalm 119:25-28 NKJV).”
Sometimes…
We just need Him to listen.
“I love the LORD, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
The pains of death surrounded me,
And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me;
I found trouble and sorrow.
Then I called upon the name of the LORD:
“O LORD, I implore You, deliver my soul (Psalm 116:1-4 NKJV)!”
Know your time with the LORD gave extra strength!

How I needed this wonderful post today, Pam! All twenty of our teens acted their age yesterday and I needed God’s shoulder to cry on. I spent the morning time with Him, reading Psalms to get my heart and mind ready for the day today.
Friday’s are fun days—following the tests—so will be a much better day. No longer sad that twelve of the kids were sent to spend the summer with distant relatives, wink. 27 kids is enough, when 20 are teens!
